this was probably the most fascinating part of the interview. feels like lando's thought about this decision a LOT and it's so interesting how much he thinks it would have had a ripple effect had it played out any other way

lando using hungary ’24 as an example of how one decision can affect teammate trust in F1: "i genuinely probably wouldn't have been able to live with that for the rest of my life" (winning the race) "the team wouldn't be the same as they are now. we probably wouldn't have won the constructors for the last two years, which probably means i wouldn't have won the drivers' last year"
