@DaniloGentili Caso de fato seja comprovada a eficácia da medicação, infelizmente quem tomou placebo vai ter perdido uma oportunidade. Mas esse é o método seguro para garantir que, se aprovada, a medicação poderá ajudar inúmeras outras vidas no futuro.

Não posso defender ou atacar o processo cientifico e não estou aqui pra isso. Mas posso contextualizar esse trecho que parece tirado de contexto. Eu a entrevistei ano passado e sei do contexto pois fiz essa pergunta pra ela. Acontece que a substância deve ser aplicada em pessoas LOGO após a fratura. Se perder o timing da aplicação a substância perde a eficácia. Quanto mais se demora , menor a chance de recuperação de quem recebe o tratamento. Sendo assim, imagine que temos dois pacientes aptos pra receber o teste. Um tomará a substância corretamente e outro tomará o placebo. Ou seja, se a substância realmente for eficaz , um andará e o outro ficará tetraplégico pra sempre. Não tem como aplicar depois nele. A pergunta é um dilema: você teria coragem de ser quem aplica o placebo em quem poderia ter uma chance de andar?

This new diffusion metric enhanced the gray matter signal, improving the contrast-to-noise ration between the brain tissues, specially between GM and WM and GM and CSF.

DTI-ALPS is a commonly used MRI marker for glymphatic dysfunction, but can it distinguish contributions of perivascular diffusivity and axonal degeneration? @Gerald989 and I wrote an editorial on this topic for JMRI: onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/jm…

By doing that, our final goal was to understand the best practices in ASL data analysis and make the ASL processing more reproducible.

In this manuscript we have assessed the main sources of variability in ASL data processing. To do so, we have compared the challenge participants' results to a DRO ground truth to evaluate the accuracy, variability and reproducibility of each participating team maps.
