The most critical question is why is the celebrant the one doing the gifting and not the other way around like in all sane societies. If they want to teach thoughtfulness it should be their classmates gifting them with something they made themselves not a gift they bought off the self.

That’s how Moh came to me yesterday that he missed his friends and will like to get them something when he resumes 😂 so it’s either cake, pizza or money for everybody in his class. For me, I see these things as teaching the kids the act of giving, gifting and thoughtfulness towards others and not a competition among parents or the kids. Moreso, no school mandates or dictates what exactly you must bring. It’s rather at the discretion of the parents to do what they are capable of doing, without trying to compete or overdo anything. But if you can’t cope, it’s better to withdraw your kids from schools like that and enrol them in schools that don’t practice such.

All thanks to the foresight of Dangote, Buhari, and Emefiele. I remember how a lot of people cried over favorable FX to Dangote Refinery under Buhari, today Nigeria is less exposed to the impending energy shortages in a lot of countries. Imagine if they did not take the initiative then, Dangote Refinery would have still been in the pipeline right now and we would all be in a big crisis. This is how those who cry today about some of the policies of this government will begin to see their value in the near future.

The thing about inverter generators is that their fuel consumption is dependent on the load. The lower the wattage you are using, the longer a given quantity of fuel will last. So, the numbers quoted may be accurate but not for practical applications. Probably experimental for very light load.
