Sir Garfield Sobers played his last match in India in 1966; National Telecast was introduced in 1982, & there was a 3-month wait to buy a TV in 1984 in India outside Delhi. How come such minute details of his bowling/batting style are appearing on my timeline ?

1) Surprised that dude's AI slop is not able to connect Moby-Dick, the 1851 epic novel by American writer Herman Melville, & the last freed slave, Dagoo, from Cape Verde, the harpooner on the Pequod whaling ship 2) about the whale oil (early 19th century's petroleum)

A country of 525,000 people held both World Cup finalists for the full 90 minutes. Spain got a 0-0 draw. Argentina needed extra time to survive. And the way Cape Verde built this team is the smartest talent arbitrage in international football. More Cape Verdeans live abroad than on the islands. Decades of emigration created large communities in Lisbon, Rotterdam, and Paris, and those communities sent their kids into Europe's best football academies. Most of those kids got elite training and still never cracked the Portugal or Netherlands senior squads. Under FIFA's eligibility rules, one Cape Verdean grandparent qualifies you for the islands. The federation spent a decade working that pipeline, capping players Europe trained but was never going to pick. The result debuted at this World Cup and drew Spain 0-0, with goalkeeper Vozinha making seven saves in the country's first ever World Cup match. Then 2-2 with Uruguay. Then 0-0 with Saudi Arabia to become the smallest nation ever to reach the knockout stage. Then extra time against Argentina before going out 3-2. The islands are roughly the size of Rhode Island. No fully professional league. Spain and Argentina have 94 million people between them. Cape Verde has 525,000, and for 90 minutes at a time, that was enough.

@ArcanaAsymptote 1) depends on the commodity or credit theory of money; 2) just reading a bit of UPSC history prep books along with kids in the family, but not economics, so cant answer authoritatively
