Pastures Open winner Richard Essex is presented with the Promach 3d trophy for breaking the course record today with a gross 63, the first time the course par of 64 has been broken. Congratulations to Richard

What rain! Course dried out nicely, greens staff have done a wonderful job and all looks splendid. Tee times available so book via the website.

Blossom on the trees and leaves coming out. If it dries up it's got to be golfing time.

Greens scarified and now the overseeding and dressing begins. It'll be well worth it.

The weather's causing havoc with the course. Following last nites rain, and having inspected the course, the greens staff have decided to close the course. They will inspect again tomorrow morning at 8.00

The weather doesn't know what it wants to do. Still areas that are wet and making grass cutting a problem. Due to this, winter green fee rates extended!!!

Fair weather clouds, not rain clouds!! Course is open but still wet in places. Book a tee time and get out in the sun. Enjoy

Course inspected this morning and even more water lying on various fairways and greens. Unfortunately it has been decided to remain closed for the weekend and reassess on Monday.

Wet, murky day yesterday means the course is closed due to all the rainfall. Inspections will be done each day to reopen asap

Course open. Please carry if possible and tee up on fairways to protect the course. Very wet in places and slippery underfoot, take care.

The weather is playing merry hell with the course at the moment, so much so that we've had to close it from 21/3. We'll assess it on a daily basis and put announcements out.

Course opening up on Saturday 18/3. Please carry if possible and be aware there are still some wet areas. Preferred lies are in play but feel free to tee up if you feel like it. Enjoy

Course still very wet with standing water in some areas. It will be inspected tomorrow for the weekend but if it carries on raining it's not looking too good.

Water lying on the fairways and some greens do course will remain closed, unfortunately. The greenkeepers will assess on a daily basis and we'll open the course as soon as it is playable.

Snow good for golf today!! Looks like we're closed for a few days but we'll let you know when open again. Stay safe
