You're mixing 2 things. That military ward question is for a totally different thing. Not for preferential treatment in SSB. Military ward can also mean the son of a jawan or JCO. The uptight officers at SSB will any day prefer a civilian rather than so soldier's son.

Some idiots think defense exams are "honest". आज भी पैसे देकर medical निकलवाया जाता है। SSB interviews are completely OPAQUE. They don't tell why you got REJECTED. However, sons/daughters of military officials easily clear the SSB round. They ask in application form - "are you a child of a military official?"

@pathak_the_merc CAT type aptitude exams can be a good i guess for preliminary screening.Test problem solving ability and language proficiency. Babus are anyways sarkari managers

Most ppl forget that almost all exams in India(esp non specialised jobs like upsc ssc cgl railways etc) just exist to screen out 99% of the candidates, bcs so many ppl apply.
The shit they ask is anyways useless. 😂😂 Rote learning all this never actually Hepls u at your job.

Coming from Bombay , I don’t like anything of Delhi NCR. Na Yaha ka chaat Acha , na wada pav, na South Indian , na dabeli. Na logo ki Niyat. Bas big cars , big houses and a lot of show off ! 20 years in NCR and I still miss Bombay every fucking single day !

@RantsOnSpree Sol is to make these jobs specialized. u can't have blanket recruitment for all. Every single branch needs to hire based on its specific requirements. Plus upsc should be 12th based exam with age limit, just like NDA. It will solve a lot of problems, including massive corruption
