Now, because of the #elonShow, we are in the process of losing a community and a means to connect with so many others. I hope at some point I join and rebuild something similar to this, but for now, thank you SO MUCH for all you have given me, and sorry I didn't give more ❤️❤️

Welp, I'm coming out in case it all dissapears. Thanks to the twitter community, I discovered I was #actuallyautistic, I was able to get through a chronic mysterious illness #NEISVoid and I was able to follow news of my home country whenever media went dark #Venezuela

Some of the reasons why academia in latin america is so far behind compared to other regions: complete lack of planning, constant improvisation, and no respect for others' schedules and time. The culture needs to change, and it starts with us.

I invite all my male and female colleagues to do a self-check and self-reflect: have I ever though of a woman as brilliant? Have I ever used the word "genius" towards a person who isn't male? The answer may be uncomfortable, but necessary for growth.
