@NCAABaseball @AggieBaseball Now that’s what you want to see!!! Grahovac going oppo means he is heating up and about to hit even better than he has been. Great hitters use the entire field. This is great hitting!

@Pirates @SNPittsburgh @937theFan Why put Cruz in CF? That’s one of the most crucial defensive positions. Errors there mean runs will score. Put him in right or left if he has to be on the field. 🤷‍♂️

@ThePoniExpress Guess they realized that centerfield defense might be kind of important. 🧐

The Pirates benched Oneil Cruz to play a centerfielder who can actually catch the ball. Novel concept.

@Travis_L_Brown Getting the W is great. The 13 K’s is concerning. 11 walks helped the Ags and 8 timely hits produced nice volume of runs. Ags continues to be one dimensional at the plate. Thank God for FRESHCORN! He shut down Mizzou and stopped them cold.

@SeanUnfiltered Hard to win if your hitters do not put the ball in play. Very small sample size to date but I sure hope they improve their approaches at the plate. Would have thought hitters would be sharper coming off spring training. 🤷‍♂️

That guy should not be in CF. Routine plays. People are taking about the Sun influence. That’s BS. The sun being in the sky and shining has been a part of the game for a long time. Good players can adjust and still track a fly ball despite the sun’s influence. Eliminate the excuses. This was just very poor defensive play. Period.

Oneil Cruz misread a Brett Baty line drive to center field. His first step was in. That was a mistake. The ball went over his head and cleared the bases. The next pitch, Cruz lost the ball in the sun. The Mets have put up five runs on Paul Skenes and there's still only one out.

@astros 8 Astros go Ofer in opener!!! Not a great start. 9 K’s. Zero runs produced 🧐. What precisely are they trying to do at the plate?

On the day Lydia Ko ALMOST shot 59, I asked her what it feels like to be in the zone. "Oh, I felt very calm."

@GolfweekNichols Absolute truth! It’s a real time information world these days. Grabbing fans attention requires effort. This was an opportunity missed.

There aren’t many opportunities for the LPGA to capture new fans. When one of the best players to ever play the game has the chance to do something extraordinary, the tour must abandon whatever else is going on and capitalize. That didn’t happen today. Lydia Ko was 10 under through 15 holes, which means she had to birdie the last three to become only the second player in LPGA history to shoot 59.  The LPGA was not on TV at the time and was not streaming. The tour did nothing to let fans know this was going on. Didn’t post on X. Didn’t send a scoring link or a photo.  I actually tagged the LPGA on X asking for updates! Send someone out to let us know what’s going on! Post videos in the moment from a phone! At the very least alert fans of the moment. There was no lead-up to what could’ve been an historic day on the LPGA. No building of suspense. Why isn’t the LPGA waving its hands saying, “Over here! Look at us!” It’s Opening Day for MLB and March Madness. The LPGA needs something special to break through and Lydia was delivering it! To the tour’s credit, they did send along a Zoom link so a couple of us could get on and ask Lydia questions. Two national reporters and two LPGA staffers asked Ko about her round. With so little media coverage – both on the ground and away –  the LPGA must get better at telling the story in real time to drive an audience. The tour’s first mention of Ko on X came after her round. They posted a scorecard that required a magnifying glass to see that she’d shot 60. Two hours later, there’s one video clip of Ko’s putt missing on the seventh, and that’s it as far as action from the day. No video clips from her presser. A grand total of three tweets and one Instagram post. It has to get better and not by inches … by miles. (📸 Getty Images)

Casa Boyza We know one of the gents is gonna be ready for PWPIPasatiempo. Dave (Boyza) got fit for the Callaway Quantum driver and gained 15+ more yards and 30 feet of tighter dispersion over his TaylorMade driver. 280-290+ yard drives with Quantum were a regular occurrence. Dave was even getting over 160 mph ball speeds on many of his drives. 💪💪 He wound up with the Quantum Triple Diamond, 10.5°, with Fujikura Ventus Blue VeloCore+ 6X shaft. And his Odyssey putter fitting was even better. 👀 Thanks Club Champion for dialing Dave in. As always, you rock. 👍

@Pirates It’s criminal to not count the first inning CF misplayed fly balls errors. Those were routine plays and no chance the runs scored were earned. Do Better!

@JomboyMedia That needs to be coded as an error. In Gameday on MLB it was listed as a hit. That was a routine fly ball! Caught 99.9999% of the time
