I was a volunteer for two years at Catholic “orphanage” in Honduras. I still have extremely mixed feelings about my time there as a white guy in a POC country with a colonial past. But today’s news has me a level of outrage I haven’t experienced in quite some time.

People are conflating Critical Race Theory with History. Y’all really protesting the teaching of HISTORY in schools. And just because that history makes some uncomfortable, that doesn’t make it any less true.

Passed a license plate today that said “GBLESSY” which my brain read as Gobble Sassy and after hours contemplating what type of human has that for a vanity plate I realized it meant God Bless You.
