#Illini | Bret Bielema on signing Mt. Zion WR Jacob Harvey, who was committed to Illinois State.
"Coach Etherton has been bragging about him for years," said Bielema. "I talked to several coaches that played against Mount Zion this year and referenced that Harvey was the best player they faced all year."
"Really, really good upside a wide receiver, he also plays some defense."
Illinois landed the No. 22 nationally ranked class, per On3, which is tied for best in school history with 2007 and 2008.
Harvey will reunite with Illinois WR Brayden Trimble.
