You don't need a new Gospel. You need a pastor who won't apologize for the old one.

The Gospel doesn't need an update. It doesn't need to be softer, more inclusive, or less offensive. It needs to be preached by people who actually believe it. That's the shortage.

The Bible isn't a self-help book. It reads more like a crime documentary where God keeps showing up anyway. And that's actually what makes it credible..it refuses to pretend humans are clean. Your pastor skipped these chapters because they're hard to explain. That's exactly why you need to read them.
