@panchdeburca @1noeloconnor Used Fluxyr 200, was done late March last year in ideal conditions and got a great kill including all the clover and mss.. stitched it again a month later but I got very dry do only got a reasonable strike

Ah, yes. Year 3 beginning of my grass/dock, sorry, grass/red clover sward. From a field without a dock problem to looking like I'll have to spray off the docks and red clover to get much out of it. Fabulous 👌

@1noeloconnor @panchdeburca Had similar issue with an mss sward last year, you can't over sow in the same year after using forefront T as the residues will stop the clover from germinating or so I was told..

@panchdeburca No hope of a tractor there yet so I still have time. If I was going that way, I'd be overseeding with white clover over the red, I reckon. Not sure if that was sown under the scheme or not though

Cows on 6.5 kgs dairy nuts and grass . All calved. Production going well at around 33 litres at 4.35 fat 3.58 protein or just under 2.7 kgms

I'd seriously look into it yet and see if you can get it.. if you get the first shot by 23/24 March you will have the 2nd done before you start breeding. 3 week interval. Potential consequences on fertility are huge if going by what happened in the UK.

@kieran_kigr Ya im caught id say , haven't ordered it, and id suspect it will be hard to get or a fair delay on it. Have had awful trouble getting the lepto vaccine. Which only came back on the market recently and its still not plentiful out there.

@JerryMoloney1 @keenan17 My last batch were in the lab on 13th and lab estimate is the 22nd 🙈 first 2 batches we're very fast, had cards back by the time calves were 12/14 days

How long are lads finding genotype results take to come back ,I’ve bunch of samples in lab since 12 Feb ,no results yet and still showing in lab ….think I read somewhere turnaround time in lab was circa 4 days

Feeding silage but hopefully a short term measure. Breeding season over and production going well at 2.37kgms. A few cases of mastitis in the last few weeks

@CiaranOShea11 In my experience and I'm not claiming to be any expert but I kept fert on my high clover paddocks all along, only cutting back fert since late May. Plenty clover present now, think it needs to be fed til soil and air temps are well up..

@patrickjb86 Got 30 units in feb. Clover is present but not growing and a very small leaf

Middle of June and my heavy clover dense fields have grown fuck all grass this year. The aged sward paddocks have grazed alot more with one small helping of fertiliser
