Minnesota’s legislature gave $1 million in taxpayer money to a nonprofit that was already ordered to pay back $1.1 million of taxpayer money that the state Department of Education identified as fraudulently obtained through the federal child nutrition program. New American Development Center did not fall under Feeding our Future. It was a meal site sponsor just like Feeding our Future.
