What should I use for removal rates? (JZ) When it comes to rates, I like to use either the Ohio State University or the Ontario rates (Agronomy Guide - Publication 811). I tend to shy away from using removal rates generated from other areas of North America, as they are not consistent with our soils/growing conditions, which may have resulted in luxury consumption.
