Securing a supply of the vaccine for South Africa as soon as possible should be governments number one priority right now. It is unacceptable that government’s tardiness is jeopardising our access to the vaccine.

@distellgroup Tavern GBVF Dialogues allowed participants to share lived experienced on GBVF. Rape, Murder, Mutilations, toxic cultural beliefs demeaning to women inspired the formation of Distell GBVF Tavern Forums. We will be working together to write a new page on GBVF.

Khuluma Ndoda Tavern GBVF Dialogues in the Eastern Cape created a platform for men to express the hurt a deep sense of loss at loosing their girlfriends, family members to GBVF. The hurt of seeing men perpetrators of femicide roaming freely. Tavern GBVF Forums were established.

@distellgroup @ECLiquorBoard Advocacy without the truth is like maggots to a sick body. Tavern Dialogues are hard and painful yet they are a platforms for healing mobilizing against GBVF. Big ups to men and women who shared their experiences to rewrite a new narrative - Not In Our Name.
