I take this seriously. Starting next year, I plan to only publicly mention (in blogs, talks, etc) L2s that are stage 1+, with *maybe a short grace period* for new genuinely interesting projects.
It doesn't matter if I invested, or if you're my friend; stage 1 or bust.
Multiple ZK-rollup teams have told me they're on track to be stage 1 by year end. I'm excited to see that happen!
Of course we should not throw away training wheels become we're actually confident that the proof systems are secure; that would be irresponsible. But stage 1 (75% threshold on council to override the proof system, 26%+ of council must be outside the rollup team) is a very reasonable moderate milestone. The multisigs I'm in have not had a single liveness failure in years, let alone 26%.
The era of rollups being glorified multisigs is coming to an end. The era of cryptographic trust is upon us.

Great post. Mythos is the #1 gaming blockchain by wallets, txns, and sales already and will continue to climb heavily over the next 12 months. The only chains bigger in all digital assets are Ethereum, Solana, Bitcoin and Polygon. I think we could exceed all chains in roughly 12 months!

What @mythicalgames is doing on the nft gaming front is wild. People are paying attention. Just look at these metrics over the past week. This is what healthy crypto gaming adoption looks like. Basically no wash trading and tons of meaningful transaction volume that dwarfs all competitors combined! But here's what people are overlooking... The @polkadot infrastructure the team is building on gives an open highway for the V12 engine of mythical games to open up the throttle. The sky is the limit here. No slow downs. No crashes. No fee spikes. Just pure custom made, future proof scalability you can count on. Remember, most people don't have whale money or even the desire to dump big bags on expensive jpegs. Regular people just want to have some seamless ownership in the experiences they already enjoy. Polkadot lets you build these kinds of experiences with no limitations. More projects are realizing this and migrating here. Pudgy is just the beginning. Polkadot is for the people.
