Want to make your baby laugh? Do the unexpected.
Earlier this week I advised that it was okay to be a little goofy with your kids. Sing the songs. Read with expression. Voice each character.
This dad takes that advice to heart - literally (and impressively) voicing Goofy, Minnie and Mickey Mouse as he ready a Disney board book, and reducing his infant son to gales of laughter.
Watch Baby’s eyes. He’s fascinated - not with the story - but by the unexpected and hilarious sounds coming out of his father’s mouth.
Is there anything better than a baby’s laughter?
Well done, Dad!

I'm so glad this classic has stood the test of time! I love that they questioned one another. Rich mathematics right there.

An estimate is not merely a “guess.” A reasonable estimate depends upon mathematical understandings of both numerosity and measurement.
