This isn’t about Barcelona or Rashford. This is a Man United problem. Here’s what I think. United do not actually want to let Rashford go. The narrative that Barcelona are refusing to pay £26m feels off. Barca just won La Liga, and the idea that they suddenly can’t structure a deal for Rashford doesn’t fully add up. Now it looks like the groundwork is being laid for his return to Old Trafford. First it becomes: “Barcelona can only afford a loan.” Then it becomes: “No other club can cover his wages.” And eventually the conclusion is: “Rashford stays and gets reintegrated into the squad.” Meanwhile Barcelona are reportedly exploring £80m winger options, yet Rashford is somehow only possible on another loan? I’m not buying it. This feels like United playing the situation out in public, step by step, until bringing him back becomes the easiest outcome to sell to the fans.

Everyone was talking about how PSG were dominant against Arsenal in the Champions League final because they only looked at the stats meanwhile those that actually watched the match knows PSG were just passing the ball around at the back and couldn't create any chances lmao

Just watched the game back. Yeah, the referee needs investigating. I thought some of his decisions were weird at the time, but from the moment he gave us a corner and then decided to blow for half-time, some questions need answering. Mosquera got booked within a minute of the restart, without a warning. Saka getting booked for winning the ball. Timber being penalised for turning his man. Every 50/50 went against us, he would award PSG a free kick minutes after waving play on for the same tackle against us. As for the Madueke tackle. I’m speechless. I'm not surprised though when Qatar are in bed with UEFA and they are PSG's sponsor.

A refereeing masterclass changed the game and gave complete control to PSG. Every 50/50, every time PSG dived the whistle blew. He didn’t allow time for the corner before half time, he booked Mosquera for nothing. Arsenal denied stonewall penalty. He destroyed the contest.
