Why the fuck would we want to help. I personally think we should just nuke Israel and be done with them.

The whole thing feels like a joke. I don’t think Trump expected it to unfold the way it did he seems to have jumped straight in without much thought. Realistically, nothing meaningful will change except higher fuel and food prices for ordinary people, all for nothing. They’re not going to topple the ideology of that country when even its own people can’t or won’t stand up to it. It was all pretty pointless. He should have at least had a proper plan first. Most people in the UK don’t want to get dragged into foreign wars and would probably agree with Starmer’s decision to stay out of it. There’s no excuse for failing to protect our bases or national interests and it has highlighted how weak the UK looks right now, especially under Starmer. I don’t disagree with that part at all. But in the end, what was it all for? What will actually change?

So Trump and Israel started the war with Iran, now Trump has washed his hands of it, telling the UK and everyone else to open the Strait themselves…
