Breaking: According to the Houston Chronicle, officers who were working for Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s border security were ordered to push small children and babies back into the Rio Grande. Additionally, they have allegedly been ordered not to give water to those people seeking asylum. This comes as we see record heat in Texas. There has to be a line that is drawn between "keeping our border safe," and harming innocent women and children who are merely seeking asylum. We are all humans, and to treat people who claim to be fleeing from danger like they are something less than human can't be the answer we strive for. Can it? We hear a lot of complaints but very few solutions. Ultimately how is a better way to secure our borders without harming women and children?

Conservatives want to cancel North Face because their ad is “offensive” to them. Liberals cancelled several Dr. Seuss books because their books were “offensive” to them. Conservatives cancelled “Critical Race Theory,” because they didn’t agree with it. Liberals cancelled the 1776 commission promoting “patriotic education,” because they didn’t like it. Everyone supports cancel culture, but just in ways that fit their own tribe’s ideological views. The question is, how do we stop this pendulum from swinging back and forth? Or do we even want to?

I have a problem with all of the people who still claim that there was widespread election fraud in the 2020 election that caused Trump to lose to Joe Biden. There is absolutely no good evidence that there was widespread election fraud. No court in American ruled that there was. Dozens of cases were thrown out -- just about every single one. Trump and Republicans had every opportunity to take their claims to court, and in many instances they did. In other instances they only made the claims of fraud in the media but never actually took those claims to court. Anyone who still makes these election fraud claims, including Donald Trump, is a sore loser. Sure, you can claim that the election was "legally rigged" because things didn't go the way you wanted or because you don't believe in mail-in ballots, early voting, etc. But please stop making the claim that there was massive widespread voter fraud. There simply was not!
