Today we remember journalist and newsreader Jill Dando (1961-1999) of Weston-super-Mare. Co-presenter of BBC’s Crimewatch which over 25 years helped to bring 57 murderers and 71 rapists & sex offenders to justice through public appeals. Jill was murdered on her doorstep at 37.
