A first look at an apparent tungsten pellet from the U.S. strikes on Lamerd, Feb. 28. PrSM is designed to detonate above target and disperse thousands of these pellets outward. Our analysis shows they killed at least 21 people, including girls who were at volleyball practice.

A cutting reflection from Cardinal Ratzinger, Good Friday 2005: "Pilate is not utterly evil. He knows that the condemned man is innocent, and he looks for a way to free him. But his heart is divided. And in the end he lets his own position, his own self-interest, prevail over what is right. Nor are the men who are shouting and demanding the death of Jesus utterly evil. Many of them, on the day of Pentecost, will feel "cut to the heart," when Peter will say to them: "Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested to you by God... you crucified and killed by the hands of those outside the law." But at that moment they are caught up in the crowd. They are shouting because everyone else is shouting, and they are shouting the same thing that everyone else is shouting. And in this way, justice is trampled underfoot by weakness, cowardice and fear of the diktat of the ruling mindset. The quiet voice of conscience is drowned out by the cries of the crowd. Evil draws its power from indecision and concern for what other people think."

Most people think they have a memory problem. They don’t. They have an attention problem. Steiner gave a deceptively simple exercise: Try to recall something you saw yesterday- not vaguely, not in impressions, but exactly. What did the street actually look like? What color was the coat of the person in front of you? Where were objects placed around you? You’ll likely hit a wall within seconds. Details blur. Gaps appear. The scene collapses. That’s the shock: We move through life without truly seeing. Here’s the exercise: Reconstruct the scene in your mind as accurately as possible. Where memory fails, don’t stop; fill the gaps consciously, almost like an artist completing a sketch. Do this regularly, and something unexpected happens: Your perception sharpens in real time. You start noticing details you used to miss. Conversations become clearer. Moments feel more awake. Steiner’s insight is precise: Memory isn't storage. Memory is the consequence of how deeply you meet the world. So the real question is: Are you forgetting… or have you never truly seen?

For those of you monitoring the situation, "gulfsentinel.net" is the absolute best dashboard containing all the relevant information you want to see. And again, if you are reading this it is wise to prepare for the worst. Year's supply of dry staple food, secure water source, minimum 1k rounds of ammo, etc. I'm not kidding -- the risks of drastic shortages and prolonged difficulties have not been higher in generations. This is not only about LNG and oil, it's about fertilizer, global GDP, drought, export bans, inflation, etc. I'm not saying a catastrophic global outcome is guaranteed. It's not. But the risks are severe enough at this time to justify taking a serious inventory of how you personally might fare in a massive global recession / supply chain breakdown / $10/gal gas. Even if you believe this situation is going to be fine, turn around, work out A-OK, that's legitimate -- but take precautions now while they're easy to take. You do not want to get caught naked in the storm that could very well be coming, especially if you have a family.
