I get the feeling after loading up in the draft, the White Sox may go big game hunting and put potentially Bonemer/Carlson and more on the table in search for premium starting pitching. I would be reluctant to deal Bonemer, but he would be sought after.

When White Sox acquire a high end Starter, you could make a compelling argument they’re the 2nd best Team in the AL if Aaron Judge doesn’t get healthy. Ascending Club

The thing is, the trade deadline is more like a Church Bizarre....they'll be some trading back and forth but nothing too big usually....the off-season is more like the Alsip Swap-O-Rama
Paul Riker@paulriker

@MrDelicious13 I can’t remember who said it, but they said we will probably see trading between buyers. Take Seattle for example, they are in contention but are shopping Castillo. If they Red Sox rotation stays healthy, they could trade one of Gray/Sandoval.

@MrDelicious13 I want an SP, but I would be fine if they just added a couple veteran bullpen arms.

@MrDelicious13 @HotDogLarry1 Loved the episode where Larry took the flowers from Funkhouser’s mom’s roadside memorial and gave them to Cheryl.

On with @SpiegsAndHolmes, @C1McKnight praised how the White Sox handled the selection of Roch Cholowsky with the No. 1 pick -- and he doesn't believe the organization will rush him to the majors.

White Sox's odds to win the division through the 1st half: 3/24: 0.6% 3/29: 0.3% 4/16: 0.1% 5/2: 1.6% 5/14: 5% 5/24: 3.6% 5/31: 12% 6/12: 19.6% 6/27: 28.6% 7/5: 26% 7/13: 24.1% Recent "drop off" seems to be more from MIN & DET gaining rather than the Sox losing Per: @fangraphs

The always arrogant Kenny “I can identify an All-Star in 50 seconds” Williams. Kenny who made these top picks: Courtney Hawkins, Keenyn Walker, Royce Ring, Joe Borchard, Carson Fulmer, Zack Collins. Who would KW have picked 1/1 this year?
JOE SOX@JOESOX3

Former Chicago White Sox general manager Ken Williams drafted his sons Kenny Williams Jr. and Kyle Williams. The team selected Kenny Williams Jr. twice (in the 2004 and 2008 drafts) and Kyle Williams in 2006 Let's hope Thomes Kid makes the Show and contributes #whitesox

@Ni_Conner @KenWo4LiFe Fedde, Schultz. The whole rotation is going to wear down. You could have a random 6 man rotation

Passan really thinks the Sox should go out and get Reid Detmers. Personally, I agree. Does offering them a package that includes both Billy Carlson and Hagen Smith get something done? The Angels may not be willing to do a trade that doesn’t involve Bonemer. Don’t think the Sox will be willing to do that with how he’s performing in Double-A. I’d be comfortable with an offer of Carlson, Smith, George Wolkow, and a lower level lottery ticket.
