@TrueKingOfSkill I use Instagram a lot and every now and then a MKWorld clip will blow up where they showcase some cool looking shortcut and the comments are all like "this isn't Mario Kart anymore" and "it's ruined by sweats" my brother in christ the sweats have been here since 1992 💀

Mario Kart DS has ppl literally drifting the entire race completely offroad
Mario Kart Wii has ultra shortcuts where you hug a cliff and complete a track in 13 seconds
and these examples feel just as evident of how ridiculous the game gets

I don't understand why ppl hate on Mario Kart World for requiring "too much skill", hasn't it always been like this?
I feel like if Nintendo magically released Mario Kart DS online, ppl will quickly hate that game because they'll lose to 7 Dry Bones snaking offroad.
