Magda Linette after beating Iga Swiatek in Miami “You had lost 3 straight sets to her 6-1… then you turned things around. How did you do it tonight?” Magda: “After I won that game in the first set, I was like, ‘Ok at least I’m close to the last score so it can’t be any worse right now’ 😂 I just felt that I’m doing a lot of good things. She was just playing much better than me. I was just waiting for a window where maybe I can get a bit more aggressive and I can get a point here and there and got her in trouble. I was a bit lucky and played good in good moments and made it to turn it around.”

Iga Swiatek seems to be really struggling to recover the form she had before failing a drug test for Trimetazidine. Jannik Sinner doesn't seem to have the same problem after his 2 failed drug tests but ITIA no longer being transparent with which players are being drug tested.

Shock in @MiamiOpen as @MagdaLinette takes out No2 seed Iga Swiatek in the battle of Poland. Linette lost 1st set 1-6, but never gave in and starting outhitting Swiatek from all over the court, great win for Magda. Swiatek not been the same player since she failed a drugs test.
