Experienced traders (5+ years), I have a question for you: I’m in that phase of my trading journey where trading doesn’t take much time from my days and I don’t have that hunger to gain new knowledge anymore. (Not saying that I know everything of course, I hope you get my point.) It feels so weird tbh. I just feel like I need to execute what I built this past years and that’s really it. Is all this normal?

Have you ever been in a situation where you enter a trade and forgot to set your TP, then it went past your Tp and come back to hit your SL? Or Have you ever been in a situation where you forgot to set your SL then price went past your SL, leading to blowing of your account or going deep into losses?

@MichaelPatak Honestly, get rid of the DLL and let the losers lose until they learn to be disciplined.

EVERYONE should have a DLL. Sometimes it’s just not your day. A DLL is your best friend in the trading world. And if you don’t want to use one that’s fine it’s just pretty likely that you’ll blow your account all in one day. I’m a big fan of DLL. Live to trade another day

Rough week. Sheesh… got stopped out instantly again today. It is what it is.

My homegirl was trading and averaging $2500 a week. Hell I remember she had a $22,000 month but now she doesn’t trade anymore doesn’t talk about it etc and I can’t figure out why.

Talked to a 70 yrs old aspiring trader at my job the other day and told me that he paid $13k for a trading course. I asked what the strategy was and the first words he said were “RSI and MACD.” I didn’t even let him finish and I just told him that he got scammed. Oof…

@TweakinTrades You ever tried not moving your stop to breakeven and just let the trades workout? In my backtests, I won more by doing that with my strategy.

yeahhhh this BE stop -> full TP made me lose my mind... it just felt targeted soooo ofc i sized up trying to get the bag i should've gotten already anddddd ended up blowing my accounts instead...
