Today, K-State commit @avery2johnson took part in a surprise ceremony to officially announce his participation in this year's @AABonNBC. But the QB had a bigger surprise. During the game, he'll wear the last name "Dent" to honor his grandfather, Larry, a US Army veteran. 🥲🫡🇺🇸

Another accomplishment to add to the sterling career of @avery2johnson at @MaizeHSFootball. The K-State QB commit will play in the 2022 US Army All-American Bowl, his second all-star game. Johnson has @MaizeEagleAD undefeated & in 5A quarters tonight. kansas.com/sports/varsity…

The @emily13hiebert to Abbie Lehman (now Chaffin) connection was unstoppable at @GoRailers and then @GoShockersVB. And now the duo will go into the Shocker Sports Hall of Fame together, a fitting ending to two of the best to ever do it at Wichita State. kansas.com/sports/college…
