@auren We bought a place on Treasure Coast in 2017 - mostly for play but i'ts been convenient for business. MLB airport 10min away, MCO 70min, Space Coast 45min away. We can run down to Miami or up to Tallahassee in 3hrs at 50% cost of living & a very comfortable old Florida lifestyle

interesting that so many people move to Miami. so hard to get work done there: so much glitz, Lamborghinis, and beautiful people. Tampa is almost certainly the best place in Florida (and the most under-rated city in America): great weather, super airport, sports teams, more.

@auren Introvert here. I used to go to the Roastery on Chestnut then one on 2nd in SOMA to a) get a change of scenery, 2) get out of my flat/loft for some air on the walk & c) occasionally meet with others. Full disclosure: Usually found a table for 1 outside or in back ;)

why do introverts go to coffee shops to get work done on their laptops? i get why extroverts do this, but never understood why introverts like all these people around them while they try to get core work done.

@auren Beyond price, why do they all insist every Bachelor degree requires same number of credits and same amount of seat time but put so little focus on work-based learning & invest so little (fight against) competency based progression?

universities charging identical prices is cartel behavior and nobody talks about it. why is there no diversity in price points? if you want a hotel, you have 50 options. if you want a university, you get the same price tag everywhere.

@auren What's your take on that decreased spend? Less interest? Decreased focus? Sufficient (or even overwhelming) data already?

there are fewer funds that spend a lot on data than there were 5 years ago. Even one of the largest hedge funds, Bridgewater, barely buys any data.
