I heard a sermon on Pentecost today (Pentecost Sunday) and it included some quotes from Rev. Dr. Willie James Jennings (which made me happy because it felt so wonderfully fitting for our church with its Pentecostal roots).

Easter is in seven days! I’m so looking forward to this…

This past week at @NWLifeChurch, I noticed some boxes that had been delivered. One was for 12,000 communion cups. The other set of boxes contained 8,000 plastic eggs for the Easter egg dash. Yup, we got our priorities in order I’d say.
