I can’t believe this isn’t obvious, but how do I turn off all notifications on my iPad? I don’t see an option for this and the focus modes propagate across all my devices. I just want a notification-free experience on this one device. Why isn’t there a simple on/off toggle?

@cvilly I question if it is by design or the app gets kills in the background because it’s memory-hungry

I find it so frustrating that Google Maps won’t retain what I was looking at when I re-open the app. Time and again I think it will, it doesn’t, and then I completely forget the business I was looking at.
