Make staff morale a priority this year. Here's a few tips: * give them a voice/ input * Trust them as professionals * Treat everyone as individuals/ humans * Respect their time * Show them you care personal/professional * celebrate/ appreciate

Chilly and rainy here but it’s going to be a fantastic day because I’ll connect and learn from #edtechcoaches across IL and beyond! Facilitating these monthly meetings is truly a highlight of my job.

Don’t mistake silence for apathy. When people are quiet, they’re often busy thinking and learning. Extraverts like to process ideas by talking them through. Introverts prefer to reflect before they speak. I'm not disengaged. I'm listening to your views and formulating mine.
