Pilot Butte School

In our assembly today, we celebrated our Pee Wee and Junior basketball teams! Thank you to all our coaches for helping to develop our players. Our students were also treated to our first Minute to Win It challenge. Our Grade 8 SLC went up against teachers.

A great playoff win today for the girls basketball team. They will play in the league semifinal Wednesday in Balgonie. Thanks to the fans for coming out to cheer the Bears on!

It was a beautiful day to make ice cream! 7W and 3E learned all about the science of making cream this afternoon. They worked together to measure milk and sugar and at the end of the experiment, everyone was able to enjoy a tasty treat! #BuildingSchoolCommunity

Congrats to the grade 7-8 boys and girls basketball teams for winning their first league games this week!

Thanks to the Pilot Butte Parks and Rec Board for allowing students the opportunity to skate at the rink for physical education. 6K ended the week back to school at the rink!#communityinvolvment

Students earned the privilege of pieing Ms. SIllers and Mrs. Stadnyk. After selling the most pizza during our fall fundraiser, they had the honour of smashing a pie in the face of admin!

7Z was experiencing hands on learning about Rhythm, Emotion, Attitude and Listening with Jayson Brinksworth. Jayson is part owner and instructor at Music In the House and plays drums for a variety of Canadian musicians. #skillsandknowledge
