Santa Claus's Magic with Русский дом at the #Yeolyan Center 🎅🏻✨ 🎄 With the support of "Rossotrudnichestvo," Santa Claus from Veliky Ustyug visited our little patients for the third consecutive year, filling their pre-holiday days with joy and magic.

🩺 At the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Armenia, Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center, new courses were held as part of the "Nursing Educational Program" designed for junior medical staff.

From November 3–9, Mari Hayrapetyan and Tatevik Baghdasaryan, two nurses from the @pcbdca , participated in the Salzburg OMI Seminar held at the Arenberg Castle in Salzburg, Austria. The seminar focused on palliative care (ELNEC).

This year, Pediatric Oncologist Shushan Hovsepyan participated with an oral presentation at the Annual Conference of the @WorldSIOP held in the USA.

Alisa Kamalyan, head of the Psychosocial Service at the Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center, Ministry of Health of Armenia, attended the 40th congress of the International Psycho-Oncology Society (IPOS) in Maastricht, Netherlands 🇳🇱.

🇺🇸 From October 17 to 20, the Annual Congress of @WorldSIOP took place in Honolulu, USA. During the conference, Dr. @ruzanna_papyan , Head of the Pediatric Oncology Department at the @pcbdca , @YeolyanCenter co-chaired several sessions and delivered an oral presentation.

November 4 is celebrated as Social Workers’ Day. On the occasion of the holiday, we congratulate Haykanush Mkhitaryan, a social worker and member of the psychosocial service team at @pcbdca .

At the age of 14, a malignant tumor was found in her pelvis. About a year later, in June 2024, Lianna had completely beaten the disease.

The Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Armenia has been equipped with new infusomats.

October 14 is celebrated as hashtag #WorldPalliativeCareDay. Since 2021, the Pediatric Palliative Care Clinic has been part of the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Armenia, with its construction initiated and financed by the City of Smile Charitable Foundation.

🎗️ September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Childhood Cancer Awareness Month was first recognized in 1990. In Armenia, 80-100 new cases of primary cancer are registered annually among children and adolescents.

Hematologist Nelly Sargsyan provided a comprehensive presentation to the nurses of the Pediatric Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Armenia, covering thrombocytopenia’s causes, symptoms, and potential recommendations that healthcare workers can provide. @YeolyanCenter

👩🏻‍⚕️ The next course in the "Nursing Education Program" focused on the effects of combined drug use. 📑 The course covered the side effects that can occur when using multiple types of medications simultaneously. @YeolyanCenter
