@JetKvm Seems to have somewhat confusing password reset instructions. For some reason, 1 has to update the firmware to reset the password. However, this was not my experience discord.com/channels/12701…

@TheNeoism Yep, read it again. Still waiting for a link. You claim the price is only high because I don't know how to shop. So since you're so superior I thought you had the hookup. I could really use some deals on memory.

I give up on electric kettles. Bought one 9 months ago. Glass sides. Developed spotting on the bottom area where the heating element is. Got worse. Company support said to descale it. I did, and it did nothing to fix the issue. They sent a replacement unit after I destroyed the cord on the old unit for proof of destruction. The replacement unit is exhibiting the same issue. City water here is moderately hard, but geez, this is a design flaw where they used a very thin layer of stainless steel over a metal heating base.

@eevblog Last night I used the heavy-duty setting on the dishwasher as I had a casserole that was greasy. I usually use normal mode. No eco mode here.

We never use any other mode on the dishwasher. Quick Power Wash is the fastest, uses the least water, similar energy to others (even ECO mode), and works every time.

I used Claude for the same Windows10 ESU issue & Claude being Claude tells the end user to go look for some utility on a website. Hello, AI is supposed to be helping me, not sluffing me off like you want to get rid of me. I have seen this same behaviour from Claude when asking tech questions before,

I spent an hr or 2 dealing w a ESU issue on someone's laptop. Kept telling me missing updates even though the build and March update were installed. Tried Gemini and nothing fixed the issue. I just had to tell Gemini I give up. Wished I had those hrs back

Sigh looks like Loblaws PC Optimum had yet another security incident "We identified some unusual activity on a limited part of our system. Through our ongoing investigation, we determined that an unauthorized third-party accessed some basic customer details, including names, phone numbers, and email addresses. Loblaw’s current investigation indicates that passwords, health information and credit card data were not compromised. The investigation also indicates that PC Financial was not impacted by this breach."

Seven months ago, I purchased a small appliance on Amazon. Right out the gate, I noticed a small issue with the device. I put up w the problem until recently, when the problem got worse. This is something that I use twice a day. A back-and-forth set of emails over 9 days, I was told that I would have to render the current device unusable before a replacement would be sent out. I did just that & now waiting to see if a replacement is being sent out that may take up to 2 weeks to show up. If I ordered a new one from Amazon, I could get it the next day. Sometimes, warranties are not worth the hassle.
