Behind every number is a child who needed someone to step in. From January through March 2026, Florida’s ICAC Task Forces worked relentlessly to identify victims, pursue offenders, and support complex investigations across North, Central, and South Florida. 6,641 investigations 323 arrests, including 24 hands-on offenders 40 children rescued from ongoing abuse 128 child victims identified This is what real impact looks like. These aren’t just statistics. They represent children removed from harm, cases moving toward justice, and law enforcement teams doing the hard, often unseen work to protect the most vulnerable. The Protecting Children’s Innocence Task Force is proud to support these efforts by helping provide the resources, technology, and capacity needed to keep this work moving forward. If you want to be part of protecting children and strengthening these investigations, your support matters. 👉 Support the work: atpministries.org/pci/ #ProtectTheInnocent #ICAC #ChildProtection #DigitalForensics #JusticeMatters #LawEnforcementSupport #PCITF

The mission doesn’t stop when the case ends. Neither should the support for the people carrying it. Day 3 of the Guardian Retreat focused on rebuilding from the inside out through bloodwork reviews, omega-3 testing, personalized protocols, IV therapy, coaching, and continued wellness support. Combined with powerful conversations from speakers like Sgt. Mark DiBona (Ret.), the reminder was clear: the work investigators do matters, but so does protecting themselves along the way. Day 2 of our 5th Guardian Retreat! The Guardian Retreat is about giving investigators and professionals the tools to keep going — mentally, emotionally, and physically. Throughout the retreat, attendees participated in fellowship, stress relief training, outdoor activities, powerful testimony, and NuCalm sessions designed to help the body and mind decompress from chronic stress exposure. @nucalm_official uses neuroacoustic sound, guided relaxation, and sensory reduction techniques to help participants slow down their nervous system, improve recovery, and experience a level of rest many have not felt in years. For professionals constantly exposed to trauma, sleep disruption, hypervigilance, and operational stress, learning how to intentionally regulate the body and mind is critical. Combined with peer connection, honest conversations, and wellness-focused training, the goal of the Guardian Retreat is simple: help those protecting children stay healthy enough to stay in the fight. We are grateful to every organization, business, donor, and supporter helping make this possible for the men and women attending these retreats. 💙 Learn more: atpministries.org/pci

The first day of the Guardian Retreat focused on understanding the impact this work has on both the mind and body. Participants completed bloodwork and brain mapping to establish a baseline and better understand how stress, sleep, and long-term exposure to trauma can affect overall wellness. Throughout the day, they took part in breathing techniques, sauna sessions, and cold plunge sessions designed to help regulate stress, improve recovery, and build resilience. Classes also focused on victim impact, the long-term effects this work can have on investigators, and practical tools to help those protecting children continue doing this work in a healthy and sustainable way. Fifteen more professionals walked through the doors today carrying the weight of some of the hardest crimes imaginable. Investigators, prosecutors, forensic interviewers, analysts, and others who spend their days fighting crimes against children are here for our fifth Guardian Retreat. Over the next several days, they’ll step away from the constant noise of the job, connect with others who truly understand the work, and focus on tools that help them stay healthy enough to keep showing up for the mission. This program is about more than wellness. It’s about sustainability, peer connection, and making sure the people protecting children don’t have to carry it all alone. Grateful to every attendee who made the trip and to the partners and supporters helping make these retreats possible. The work matters and so do the people doing it. #GuardianRetreat #ProtectingChildren #ICAC #LawEnforcement #ChildProtection #InvestigatorWellness #PCITF

Today we kick off our 5th Guardian Retreat with 15 more investigators, prosecutors, and professionals who work every day to protect children and pursue those who exploit them. These retreats are about more than just stepping away for a few days. They are about giving those on the front lines tools, connection, and support so they can continue doing this work long term without carrying the weight alone. The mission is simple: support the people protecting children so they can stay in the fight. We’re honored to welcome this group and grateful to everyone helping make programs like this possible. Today, on Peace Officers Memorial Day, we pause to remember the officers who never made it home. Behind every badge was a person who chose service over self. A mother. A father. A son. A daughter. A friend. A partner. Some gave their lives protecting people they would never meet. Others died answering calls most of us will never experience. Their names are etched into memorial walls, but their absence is carried every day by the families, friends, and communities they left behind. Today is a reminder of how fragile life truly is and of the sacrifices made by those willing to serve others, knowing there are no guarantees for tomorrow. Today we honor the fallen. We honor the families who carry that loss. And we remember that their sacrifice will never be forgotten. #PeaceOfficersMemorialDay #NationalPoliceWeek #WeRemember #LawEnforcement #PCITF

Every case represents a child. And every investigation takes time, precision, and people willing to keep going even when the work is difficult. Investigators working crimes against children spend countless hours reviewing evidence, processing devices, building cases, and pursuing offenders so children can be identified and protected. During National Police Week, we recognize the investigators, forensic examiners, analysts, and law enforcement professionals carrying this work every day. Thank you for what you do. A full year of investigations. 500+ suspected distributors of CSAM identified. 46 search warrants. 42 arrests. Among those arrested were people in positions of trust including a child psychologist, government employees, corporate executives, and registered sex offenders. This is why these investigations matter. Offenders do not fit one profile, and this crime exists in every type of community. Cases like Operation Volcano take partnerships. Law enforcement, ICAC task forces, and nonprofit support all working together to keep pushing cases forward and protect children from further exploitation. Proud to see nonprofits, ICAC task forces, and law enforcement continuing to work together to protect children and hold offenders accountable. This fight is bigger than any one organization. And it’s far from over. The work is real. So are the victims. Video: @KTLA

This isn’t just another case type. Investigators working crimes against children are exposed to material most people will never see and were never meant to see. Research has shown that more than 1 out of every 3 professionals in child protection related fields experience clinical levels of traumatic stress from repeated exposure to this work. And they show up the next day and do it again. That’s the reality behind the work. During National Police Week, we remember those who gave their lives in the line of duty and recognize those still carrying the weight of these cases every day. Supporting law enforcement in this space helps cases move forward and helps protect children. Protecting Children’s Innocence Task Force
Today marks the beginning of National Police Week. This week is rooted in remembrance. We honor the officers who gave their lives in the line of duty, the families who carry that loss, and the men and women who continue to serve communities across the country every day. For those working crimes against children, the work is often unseen by the public, but the impact is real. These investigators carry cases that are complex, time consuming, and emotionally difficult, yet they continue showing up to protect children and pursue those responsible. This week, we recognize their service, their sacrifice, and the continued need to support them. #NationalPoliceWeek #PeaceOfficersMemorialDay #LawEnforcement #PCITF

A recent investigation led to 28 arrests tied to child exploitation offenses. Some of the conversation online has focused on where a few of those individuals worked. That misses the bigger point. Offenders do not come from one place or one type of background. They exist in every community, often in places people would not expect. What matters is the work being done by law enforcement to identify them, stop them, and protect victims. This case is the result of that work. Investigations like this take time, coordination, and resources. Without those, cases slow down and opportunities to protect victims are missed. The Protecting Children’s Innocence Task Force exists to support law enforcement by helping provide the tools and technology needed to move these cases forward. Because no case should sit due to a lack of resources, and every child deserves protection. Learn more about our work at atpministries.org/pci/

May 5th is a day set aside to call attention to the missing and murdered in the Indigenous community. Across the nation, Indigenous communities are facing a crisis that too often goes unseen. Missing and Murdered Indigenous People cases remain at alarming levels. Homicide is one of the leading causes of death for Indigenous males ages 1 to 44. Violence against Indigenous women is significantly underreported. Some communities experience violent crime rates up to 10 times the national average! Thousands of cases remain unsolved, with little to no media attention. According to the U.S. Department of the Interior Indian Affairs, many of these cases remain unresolved due to limited investigative resources. This is where support matters. The Protecting Children’s Innocence Task Force helps close those gaps by supporting law enforcement with the resources and technology needed to move cases forward. No case should go cold because of a lack of resources. Every victim deserves to be found. We had the opportunity to sit down on Alternative Eye: Beyond the File for a conversation that every parent, leader, and community member needs to hear. Our Executive Director, Katie Yaryan, shared a frontline perspective on the realities of child exploitation, what’s really happening beyond the headlines, where systems are falling short, and what it truly takes to protect vulnerable children. This isn’t just an issue “out there.” These crimes are often hidden in plain sight, impacting communities just like yours. In this conversation, we break down: • The gaps that leave children at risk • The challenges investigators face every day • Why awareness is one of the most powerful tools we have • How YOU can be part of protecting children At Protecting Children’s Innocence Task Force, we are committed to identifying, protecting, and advocating for those who cannot protect themselves. This episode is eye-opening, but more importantly, it’s a call to action. ⚠️ Viewer discretion advised: Sensitive topics discussed. 👉 Watch. Share. Speak up. Because protecting children requires all of us. youtu.be/ixHCECNAYGk

They stand between evil and the innocent. This Law Enforcement Appreciation Month, we recognize the men and women who don’t hesitate when others would step back, those who run toward the darkest places to protect children from exploitation and harm. From local officers to ICAC task forces and investigators working behind the scenes, their work is rarely seen by the public, but the impact is undeniable. Every rescue. Every case built. Every child given a chance at safety. At the Protecting Children’s Innocence Task Force, we have the privilege of standing alongside these professionals, supporting the resources, technology, and wellness they need to continue this fight. We see you. We respect you. We stand with you. Not just this month, every single day. If you believe in protecting children and supporting those who do the work, stand with us. atpministries.org/pci/ #LawEnforcementAppreciationMonth #ProtectTheInnocent #PCITF
