@SantiWest100 Fair point but I assume Suarez had behind close doors games each week etc with the reserves. Will Isak? I’m not sure what will be happening tbh. We will have to see. Sweden have Slovenia, Kosovo & Switzerland in their group so won’t be easy for them & will need him at his best.

@pckrc True it’s not ideal but Sweden are a nation with not much depth of top players, so Isak will still get to play despite lack of match fitness. He could also do a Suarez - remember Suarez got an 8 match ban and started the 2013/2014 season late, but was super fresh and on fire.

It’s worth noting that Sweden still need to qualify for the World Cup. Lots of people saying Isak might miss World Cup if he isn’t playing. More importantly, his country might not even qualify if he isn’t playing. They have a very tough group too.
