About 11 years ago, my dad was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He beat it with lots of chemo and prayer. On Monday he was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He will beat it with the combination of chemo and a stem cell transplant. And prayer. His oncologist told us that the best candidates for stem cell donors are healthy men and women ages 18-40. If you would like to be a donor and possibly save a life, please do! A simple cheek swab is all they need to get you on the registry. If you can’t donate, we still covet your prayers.
