A massive wake up call! Breaks my heart as a chemical engineer & I have to offer an apology that in 14 years in Gov we went totally the wrong way on energy costs for industry, obsessed by climate taxes. Industry in the UK pays 4 times as much for energy as industry in the USA or Middle East. Chemicals industry is what keeps us alive & protected, yet it’s been decimated. The UK has to be a great place to invest in Chemicals manufacturing, it is a critical national industry. We must fix this. 👇🏽

@EdwardJDavey Oh do get a grip. Trump's USA isn't going to invade Greenland. The USA may expand their military presence there, as might other NATO allies, most notably CA, DK, NO & UK, we shall see. The USA may also make overtures to an independant Greenland over accessing mineral resources.

Starmer needs to finally stand up to Trump. He should visit Greenland and show the world that Britain stands with NATO and stands with our allies when it matters.
