No path lights between Palm and Garfield, and south of Van Buren. None if this week's expected new crossing signals were energized. Otherwise, well lit and busy. Families, kids, dogs, and bikes.

Hey @StreetsPHX , saw a crew working on #CanalScape crossing signal at Oak this morning. Foreman said 3 or 4 more coming. Which ones? Anxious to get these energized. @phxspokespeople

@StreetsPHX @phxspokespeople Confused regarding Indian School. The canal crosses right at 16th Street, using existing traffic signals, no new on canal alignment. Will there be way finding to direct bicycle traffic?

Having to switch sides when crossing Central Avenue is confusing to users of the canal oath.

Looking for an update @valleymetro regarding timeline to complete cuts at light rail crossing of Grand Canal on Central Ave. @StreetsPHX is activating a number of crossings this week bring #CanalScape closer to completion.

CanalScape Phase II. Rode from Washington Street, leaving about 9:00 this evening. Path lights are on between Van Buren and about Roosevelt. Off until Osborne. Then path lights are on, HAWK at 20th energized today. Lights on, and signals activated in Phase I west of 16th Street.

@StreetsPHX Rode through it an hour ago. Awesome. Also saw the path lights were on from Van Buren to about Roosevelt. Phase III is coming along quickly.

Was THRILLED to see the 7th Street HAWK energized this morning. Noticed 12th Street over the weekend, and 7th Ave last week. @StreetsPHX is 15th Ave energized? #canalscape 😊

@pdlphx We have a correction! I was just informed that there indeed WILL be a new crosswalk on the north side of the canal, but @valleymetro will need to remove the curbing/level the guideway first. Timeline is in their hands. Our sincerest apologies for the initial misinformation!

Correction, it is not a HAWK, it's a full signal. Much safer for that intersection.

@StreetsPHX So is the intent for the new signal on the north bank just to stop cars, and users of the path will divert south to the existing crossing?

@pdlphx We checked with our team and this is a tricky location. Since anyone crossing over light rail needs to watch for both vehicles and trains, every crossing created was signalized for safety. Therefore, there are not currently plans to create a crossing at this location.

@StreetsPHX There is an existing crossing with a full traffic signal on the south bank since light rail opened. There is a new, unenergized set of signals at the north bank, still bagged.

@StreetsPHX Any timeline for the curb cut at the Central Avenue light rail crossing. It's an awkward transition now when using the north bank. And unfortunate alignment of the power poles.

@pdlphx We are also so excited for the work on the #GrandCanalscape! I just spoke with our Traffic Services team and they are hoping to have the HAWK at 15th Ave. & Grand Canal activated within the next two weeks or so. I hope this helps!

Finally, the first signaled crossing on CanalScape Phase I is energized. A HAWK at 7th Avenue. Anticipating (hoping) that 7th Street us next. #canalscape
