@techknight2 I don't know this particular device but normally such supplies are regulated using a TL431 and an optocoupler, one of these defective could mean a lack of feedback and thus maximal voltage.
And there is also a potmeter in that circuit as others already mention.

Meanwell LRS-350-5. I have an entire stack of them and they all fail the same way. The 5 volt regulation dies so it runs between 7 to 9 volts. It's happening at an alarming rate, so I need to figure out why

Let’s do basic math:
• Morocco: Founded in 788 (Idrisids).
• Portugal: 1139.
• Spain: Late 1400s. Spain didn't even exist yet.
Portugal took Ceuta in 1415 from Marinid Sultan Abu Saïd Uthman III (and handed it to Spain in 1668). Melilla was seized in 1497 from Wattasid ruler Muhammad al-Shaykh.
You didn't "pre-date" anything, you literally stole land from Moroccan sultans while your countries were still figuring out how to exist. Open a book or cope harder.

About Ceuta. A lot of reports outside Spain (I've seen quite a few in 🇫🇷 🇬🇧🇩🇪) are getting it wrong
Ceuta is 𝐧𝐨𝐭 in Europe. It's a Spanish enclave in Africa and as such has a special border regime. Reaching Ceuta does not mean you've reached mainland Spain (and therefore Schengen) for which you need either a visa or refugee status. Most of the desperate migrants from Morocco will be returned before they can travel onwards into mainland Spain
The question no one outside Spain asks is why this is happening. Sanchez visited Algeria this week, which greatly angered Morocco. These kind of images, often without the above context, greatly embarras Sanchez and whip up the usual RW hysteria about "being invaded"

Absurde beelden vanuit Ceuta en Melilla. Binnen 24 uur zijn tienduizenden migranten de grens overgestoken, met tientallen doden tot gevolg. Dat is geen instroom van asielzoekers, dat is totale ontwrichting. Het laat zien dat Spanje in haar twee Afrikaanse enclaves afhankelijk is van Marokkaanse grenswachten. Dat is niet langer houdbaar.
Europa heeft controle nodig over de buitengrens, zodat wie bescherming zoekt hier ook een zorgvuldige procedure in normale opvang kan doorlopen. De stormloop op Ceuta maakt dat totaal onmogelijk. Spanje kan nu alleen maar inzetten op deze mensen zo snel mogelijk terugsturen. Dat is ook in het Nederlands belang, en laten we daarom Spanje duidelijk maken dat ze er niet alleen voor staan. Druk op Marokko moet nu geen Spaanse, maar Europese druk zijn. Om de grens weer onder controle te krijgen, én om mensen zonder beschermingsgrond zo snel mogelijk terug te nemen.
De EU heeft al terecht extra steun toegezegd via Frontex; Nederland moet daar onvoorwaardelijk in meegaan: extra capaciteit voor grensbewaking en registratie. Ik reken erop dat het kabinet hier bovenop zit.
Ik zie ook Kamerleden die over de beelden uit Ceuta idiote uitspraken doen. Alsof de Marokkanen daar al in de Schengenzone of zelfs op weg naar Nederland zijn. Dat is onzin: Ceuta en Melilla vallen niet onder de vrij reizenzone van Schengen. En vrijwel zeker zal bijna niemand van hen een verblijfsvergunning kunnen krijgen. Spanje moet de strenge aanpak die door het EU-migratiepact mogelijk is nu toepassen op deze migratiestroom: snel beslissen en zsm terugsturen. De Spaanse regering noemt de stormloop zelf een ‘aanval’ en wil dan ook precies dat doen: zorgen dat deze schending van de Europese buitengrens niet beloond wordt.

🇪🇸 Belgium is monitoring the situation in Ceuta closely. When a Member State situated at the external border comes under such pressure, it is a European issue, not purely a Spanish one. At times like these, Spain must ensure that its borders are protected and be able to count on the involvement of both the European authorities and those of Morocco.
The protection of Europe’s external borders remains a priority for the Belgian government. Controlling the borders, taking a firmer stance towards illegal migrants and dismantling the business model of people-smugglers is not at odds with a humane approach: it is a prerequisite for it.
The Spanish authorities, with whom I have been in contact this morning, and the European Commission are taking the necessary measures to manage the situation, in coordination with Morocco, including return mechanisms for those who have crossed the border illegally, in addition to voluntary returns to Morocco, which appear to be already taking place.
