@g1rlb1og @dollyana_5 yep often even medical profesionals hold these views & hate their anorexic patients when i was aged 18 & in hospital (v underweight, organ failure & detained for mental health) & waiting to be transferred to ed ward the doctors scowled at me & one said they were "babysitting" me

@dollyana_5 there’s a view on eds that it’s more self inflicted than other mental illnesses, the way that anorexic women are deemed evil for existing in their bodies rather than extending empathy :(

Girl...being sectioned means you can't decide to go home if you want to and you can't refuse medication bc they will strap you down and inject it

@sugarfreebar tbf maybe what she means is that when youre informal you dont often have a choice anyway cuz they threaten with section but sectioned patients have legal rights 2 appeal & an advocate & nearest relative powers & the section requires a renewal process

@mayssdiaryy during my post anorexia reactive eating phase i would eat on some days literally like 6k calories like its actually so gross i remember finishing entire loaves of bread a lot, & once i finished an entire jar of jam making jam sandwiches most of it ive memory holed tho

Can people with anorexia please share ur worst binges and reactive eating episodes that u didnt purge so I feel better I think im not anorexic anymore I can’t restrict at all I’m fucking ravenous I’m gonna gain sm weight I’m horrified I’ll eat anything atp it’s not even cravings

@pea_edtwt Tell me more about the diagnosis change and Thankyou the issue is that it wasn’t reactive eating I fully chose to do this even my binges are 2-3k in a day MAX and I had a fuck this disorder moment and took it way to far what anorexic would CHOSE to do that tho

i ate 130 cals of rice with this meal & i feel like shit after.. too many carbs... maybe foaunt was right

unfortunately the ‘i was miserable at my lw’ doesn’t work for me i genuinely was at my happiest and most confident. and i’m not even being delusional 😭
