I have decided to write a book because I feel compelled to warn others. I have survived too much not to.

@Megannibyniaeth So sorry you need to deal w that crap! You are beautiful!! 💕 It is abhorrent how often women get called fat or dismissed in the dating world by men. They have no shame in doing it either as if they were entitled to! Even when THEY are old, bald, short, fat, skinny, or ugly! 🤦🏼‍♀️

@peaceblitz Yes. I didnt see this coming. I drove to give them holiday presents and the house was empty. They moved 1000 miles away without telling me. My son would never have done that. Its like he is in a cult. He was vulnerable like me. Now trapped.

It is never fair to the victim to have to go no contact with a parent. It is forced upon them. No one would choose to have to take this step. They are not cruel or unforgiving. They are surviving and wish if could've been different. But, they are strong enough to know it won't be

Anyone else in love with the idea of love? In lust over the idea of marriage? Sucker for a wedding? A hopeless romantic? Yet, in reality, have no use for any of it bcs it is not worth all the effort? The complications of being a cynic in ♥️ with ♥️. 😂

@AhnaLovell I am actually thinking of a few diff families right now where same happened. It is usually the son who marries a female narc & she destroys his family. Usually bcs she wants more control. Vile. In these cases, eventually, it imploded & the victim saw it. Still so devastating.

@AhnaLovell I am sorry for you! 💔 Tweets are limited in scope. My tweet referred to adult children or older kids that are left no choice but to go no contact bcs their parent(s) are abusive. Not all tweets refer to all things.

@peaceblitz Too simplistic. My son was loving and beloved by his family for 35 years. He went no contact because he married a woman who demanded it or else he would lose his children. Many parents are hurting because they are impacted by narcissists who marry into the family.

Kids with divorced parents who are "the best of friends" wonder why they couldn't just have stayed married and not complicated their lives.

Adults could have protected you. Adults could have treated you better. Adults could have believed you. Adults could have shown you love. You were a child. They chose not to. You deserved better. Far better. And, they do not deserve you.

You must say goodbye to abusers so you can say hello to your future.

If you were abused as a child, it was not your fault. You do not owe anyone anything.

You cannot love someone into treating you well. In the process, you are not loving yourself and teaching them to treat you worse.

No deeper loneliness than being lonely within a marriage. And, far too many are.

Good day to remember that being single is far better than being in a bad relationship.

Narcissistic abusive relationships begin with them thinking the worst about you while you are thinking the best about them. Recipe for disaster.

@pandoragorman I was using it the same way and found that I was dropping sorrys to shopping carts when I bumped into one. 😂

Women esp. are prone to saying "sorry" a lot. We may do it to be nice or polite. But, in this broken world, it often translates into "target" for abusers. Apologize when you do wrong only. Don't throw around the word "sorry".

Don't suffer fools.

@legalella "Parental Alienation" is code for fathers who want to deny truth of kid's experience w them plus a handy legal strategy for abusers to implement for leverage. And, that's about it. I know PA ppl will foam at the mouth but what they describe is not same concept as what is used.
