I was watching this interview, and I couldn’t help but share this because it hit a nerve—Ms. Dolly’s comment that therapy isn’t cheap. By thinking about it, if a well-established artist says something like that, it shows how inaccessible mental health care still is for many.

We already have Aurora Music Fest and CCP’s Pasinaya!! These two are already growing and thriving on their own. And I just know that, with more support and investment in them and in local arts, they can become just as big, loud, and vibrant as Coachella!! 💯🤞🏻

@littledotful @NCCAOfficial We have a few: NCCA, FDCP, CCP, etc. But they are underfunded + fragmented ang offices natin compared with other countries na may dedicated dep’t for culture and the arts. Consequently, we’re limited to preservation instead of promotion & innovation for our new artists. 😔
