I stopped being kind to people who use AI when they cried it's gatekeeping. I do not need to handhold people who are not capable of using google to find assets, using community tabs to find resources, or even ask **without immediately going to ai use**. I got tired of being kind when I was told it's bullying to call someone out for using AI. I am so tired of AI being seen as acceptable when you have no income or a tight income. Vtubing is NOT a cheap job to get into. It is by no means a get rich quick scheme. I am disabled - and I have never considered AI to make art for my thumbnnails, my art, anything. VTubing is built off of artists- from logos, to models, to rigs, to overlays. Art is not a right. It is a luxury, as much as we may want it or in the vtubing field, need it. Artistic skill is not always natural; it's hard fucking learned, through hours and hours of study and practice. GIMP is a free software to make a collage for a banner. For the twice of that blue check, you CAN find artists who will work with payment plans, Vroid studio is free, there are thousands of free assets out there. You can get the art- you just have to do the work and look. You cannot expect it to be handed to you. i want the creatives i surround myself with to be and do better. I want AI use to be seen as inherently unacceptable due to the environmental impact it has, among other heinous things people have used AI for.

nope! there are an ABUNDANCE of free resources at everyone's disposal and these "creators" (they do not deserve that title) still choose to use AI- which steals from artists that built the foundation every vtuber (Including yourself, op) stands on. so no. they deserve it.
