Two trophies in a week! Well done to our Year 9 football team who won their league final against City Fields this evening. Excellent performance and attitude and we look forward to Division 1 football next year! ⚽️

Fantastic effort from our Year 7 rugby team in their first ever game as a team over in Hull. We lost 12-4 but showed tremendous potential - the future is bright!

Our Year 7 football team are league champions - a fantastic first season of high school football ending with a trophy! As we have done all year we showed great attitude and quality today, coming back from 1-0 down to beat Minsthorpe 3-1! Well done to all students!

A 2-1 win for our Year 8 footballers in their final league match of the season this evening against Kettlethorpe. A super effort with just eleven players on a warm night. We are hoping that they - and our Year 7’s - have done enough to make the league final next Tuesday! 🤞 ⚽️

A fantastic day for our Year 7 teams at Kettlethorpe today. Firstly, our Year 7 netball team performed amazingly well to reach the final of their netball tournament, only losing out into St. Wilfrids in the final, before our football team won their league game 4-0! ⚽️

It wasn’t to be for Year 7 who played well and created a number of chances but lost 2-1 after extra time to a more clinical St. Wilfrid’s! We are hopeful of another crack at a trophy by making the league final in a few weeks with another league match at Kettlethorpe tomorrow! ⚽️

Fantastic performance from our Year 7 football team who won their Wakefield Cup semi-final 4-1 against Outwood Grange and will now play in the final on Tuesday! It unfortunately wasn’t to be for our Year 8’s who lost on penalties against the same opposition after a 2-2 draw.

Fantastic performance from our Year 7 netball team who won against Trinity Academy Cathedral this evening! We also had some outstanding leadership from student coaches Esme and Megan in Year 9, well done girls!
