Tinubu became Governor of Lagos state in 1999. He's been Governor ever since. He's still the Governor till today. He used 3 decades to perfect the ecosystem of weaponized poverty woven into state-backed thuggery. His finest device ever. Tinubu is a demon.

Peanuts in Coke is one of the most accidentally perfect food pairings in history, and the chemistry explains why this guy can't go back. Coca-Cola sits at pH 2.5, roughly the same acidity as stomach acid. When you drop roasted peanuts into that, the phosphoric acid partially denatures the surface proteins on the nut, releasing free glutamate. You're generating umami in real time inside the glass. The salt on the peanuts suppresses bitter taste receptors on your tongue, which amplifies your perception of sweetness without adding a single gram of sugar. Coca-Cola already has 39g of sugar per can. Your brain registers it as even sweeter because the salt is clearing the noise from competing flavor signals. Then carbonation does two things. CO2 dissolved in liquid forms carbonic acid, which triggers pain receptors (TRPA1), not taste receptors. That mild irritation resets your palate between sips so you never get flavor fatigue. Every sip hits like the first. Second, the bubbles physically agitate the peanut surface, accelerating the protein breakdown and glutamate release. The longer the peanuts sit, the more umami you extract. The fat content seals it. Peanuts are 49% fat by weight. Fat is the only macronutrient that activates CD36 receptors, which your brain interprets as richness and satisfaction. Mix that with sugar, salt, acid, umami, and carbonation and you've accidentally triggered every major reward pathway in the human taste system simultaneously. Georgia farmers in the 1920s did this because they needed one hand free while working. They stumbled into the optimal salt-acid-umami-fat-carbonation loop a century before food science could explain why it worked.

Power does reveal character, but history isn’t optional. Abacha’s regime brought military dictatorship, Ogoni executions, Kudirat’s assassination, billions looted, and a gagged press with many living in fear of being locked in dungeons. Some families never recovered from the trauma and those old wounds have not healed fully. NADECO activists weren’t perfect including a few relatives of mine, but equating them as “worse” than that era romanticizes real atrocities many Nigerians suffered. Let’s critique today’s failures on rule of law and accountability across all sides, but let’s not rewrite the past to score points. I would equally frown tomorrow if someone says endsars protesters, are worse than murderous/criminal police officers. A New Nigeria needs facts, not selective memory. Let’s build Nigeria forward with truth. 🇳🇬

Yesterday defenders of democracy, today's destroyers, What a shame. What an irony of history, that the acclaimed defenders of democracy and human rights who claimed to have fought for democracy during the era of General Sani Abacha now find themselves worse than the man they opposed. Today, General Sani Abacha, once presumed face of oppression, will be remembered as seemingly more democratic and more respectful of human rights than the so-called champions of activism from the NADECO days. Power indeed reveals character. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Whoever the idiot is that is trying to place a Community Note on @Spearhead_Af's video, using the Silent Slaughter report as a "source", perhaps you are not aware that The Spearhead's CEO - David Hundeyin - actually worked on that report, and he was the first person on the planet to publicly release it, which he did during a live interview on Arise TV in April 2021. That report did NOT "compile a report of a genocide in Nigeria dating back 20 years". Its entire reporting scope spanned 2016 - 2019, and its primary method for establishing "genocide against Christians" was to compile death certificates from communities affected by terror attacks - which was obviously a flawed and dishonest methodology because Muslims bury their dead before sunset and are far less likely to obtain death certificates, whereas Christians are far more likely to deposit their dead at a mortuary, which requires death certificates for bodies to be admitted. Source: MYSELF. I WORKED ON THE FUCKING THING. The names on the report were Richard Ikiebe, Stephen Enada, Obadiah Mailafia, Ayo Adedoyin et al. I am one of the "et al" you fucking idiot! Imagine one soft-brained Nigerian idiot with an unwashed ass trying to community note me about my own work!

When they move abroad as immigrants - they make friends based on visa categories. They don't even date below their visa categories. 😂 When they're on Twitter, the reiterate that stratification. small accounts vs big accounts. 💀 I reflect a lot on our ideological design, as a people. Nigerians are morally bankrupt, culturally deficient and rooted in faux elitism. This is why some markets exist for us, because they can take advantage of that shameless insecurity - and I genuinely don't think the reason is poverty. I've visited other poor countries. These countries do not see cars beyond what they are, a means a transportation. They don't see restaurants beyond what they are. They don't see dates beyond what they are. Something fundamentally is wrong with us. For us, it isn't even enough that we succeed - it is important that other fail, or don't succeed as much as we do. It is important for us to have an edge other others. It is such a sick attitude. Person A has one house. Person B has two houses. It isn't enough that they both have roof over their heads - Person B innately subclasses Person A. You should also to hear from a Nigerian gym goer that you're not "man enough" because you don't bench as much as he does. 💀 As segwayed as these analogies are, they are rooted in the same proportionality. It points to the same mental illness. Who did this to us?
