Something I think is perfectly obvious yet surprisingly controversial: the primary reason humans do art is to get laid. Not saying it's conscious, not anymore than we consciously have sex in order to reproduce. But the art-making urge and instinct were very obviously put there by evolution as a mating mechanism. Every form of proto-art in the animal kingdom is there for this reason, from spiders dancing to birds singing through fish making pretty patterns in the sand. Burden of proof is on those arguing that art is any different for humans.

two weeks ish with opus 4.5 and verdict is: it's really really good as a raw implementer but still not a 10/10. Has some things that have always plagued Claude – it doesn't push back enough and tends not to verify codebase nuances enough
