@BuildMRR It’s extra hard when english is your second language and you add the translations going on in your head to the “buffering” :) So speaking slowly and long pauses really helped improve clarity

Every now and again we stumble onto a gem of a product for the kids - @yotoplay is definitely one of those "gonna always remind me of this life stage" products

@johncutlefish It worked really well in my experience: - one person at a time doing the work on a team, not a % - devs rotate so no one is stuck with this work for a long time - there’s a permanent swimlane just for tech debt/bugs this person pulls from, and others on the team don’t touch it

I just backed Failure to Launch on @BackerKit! backerkit.com/c/iron-circus-… It’s an anthology by several artists, was 100% funded right away, and (the best part) it has a story by my amazingly talented brother @andrevalente Go get it!

@BuildMRR Not against making landing pages look good. But it seems there’s a race to get buzz on “how did they do that?” reactions. And to have that level of differentiation a lot of effort is needed.

@pedrovalente I agree, however, the ease of creating a polished SaaS landing page using readily available tools with established formulas stands in contrast to the more complex task of identifying which aspects of a unique product to optimize.

This trend of super polished landing pages for saas products makes me think: ⁃Landing page: good for the business ⁃The core product: good for customers What if all that effort and attention to detail went into the product instead?

And if I’m a customer, doesn’t feel great seeing that this company is using it’s limited capacity to prioritize acquisition and buzz when it could be making my experience better
