Everyone on this flight to Winnipeg is eating pirogies and watching Ryan White highlights. The guy across the aisle told me a story about Arron Asham’s brothers fighting 4 cops outside of a bar in Portage La Prairie. Someone overheard the conversation and jumped in and retold the infamous story of Scott Glennie fighting a VLT machine in Brandon at the hotel bar next to Houston’s back in the day. Even the Virden rodeo got brought up. This makes zero sense to anyone outside of Toba. -People’s
