#Panthers fans are obviously stoked for March 9 (negotiating window) and March 11 (start of free agency), but March 13 is also pretty significant. On that day, Mike Jackson ($2M), Robert Hunt ($9M) Tommy Tremble ($2M), Jaycee Horn ($16.23M) and Bobby Brown ($2.78M) have portions of their base salaries become guaranteed, per Over The Cap. Most, if not all, of those guys are sticking around but if Carolina makes a big move at DT or TE, it’ll be interesting to see what happens with Brown or Tremble (I expect both back at the moment).

I don’t think anything changes for Goodwin, as he is instrumental for their run schemes, among other elements. Bevell, in this capacity, offers a veteran perspective, re: QB development + continuity w Dave. He has experience operating in the same orbit as the current regime, and while the design may not be “playcaller”, he’s useful in terms of weekly install, and bringing a veteran set of eyes and input to the operation. The staff has tremendous continuity, but it’s not forced. It’s been a sensible plan in terms of staffing.

@4ourmanrush If they change the playoff seeding system then they would have to just get rid of divisions. Why have a division if it means nothing? It wont happen, fans of other teams are just mad they missed the playoffs.
